Analyst Rating In Review: Level 3 Communications Bid Up 3.5% Since Upgraded 7 Days Ago (LVLT)

Raymond James upgraded Level 3 Communications (NYSE:LVLT) from Underperform to Market Perform a week ago. The stock closed at $21.10, which is 3.5% higher than the price one week ago ($20.39).

Level 3 Communications (NYSE:LVLT) has potential upside of 16.0% based on a current price of $21.37 and analysts' consensus price target of $24.79. The stock should find initial resistance at its 200-day moving average (MA) of $21.51 and further resistance at its 50-day MA of $22.66.

In the past 52 weeks, Level 3 Communications share prices have been bracketed by a low of $16.36 and a high of $27.99 and are now at $21.37, 31% above that low price. The 200-day and 50-day moving averages have moved 0.12% lower and 0.41% lower over the past week, respectively.

Level 3 Communications, Inc. provides telecommunications and information services, including local, long distance, and data transmission. The Company also provides other enhanced communications and Internet services, and is involved in coal mining businesses.
