AEP Industries has the Lowest Price to Sales Ratio in the Metal & Glass Containers Industry (AEPI, GEF, OI)

Below are the three companies in the Metal & Glass Containers industry with the lowest price to sales per share ratios. Often companies with the lowest ratio present the greatest value to investors.

AEP Industries (NASDAQ:AEPI) is lowest with a price to sales ratio of 0.31. AEP Industries Inc. manufactures plastic packaging films. The Company manufactures a variety of PVC, PE and PP commodity and specialty films. AEP's films are used to manufacture bags, sacks liners, labels and wrapping for the packaging, transportation, beverage, food, automotive, pharmaceutical, chemical, electronics, construction, agriculture and textile industries. AEP Industries has traded 5,000 shares thus far today, vs. average volume of 29,000 shares per day. The stock has outperformed the Dow (0.3% to the Dow's -0.2%) and outperformed the S&P 500 (0.3% to the S&P's -0.1%) during today's trading.

Greif (NYSE:GEF) is next with a price to sales ratio of 0.54.

Finishing up the bottom three is Owens-Illinois (NYSE:OI), with a price to sales ratio of 0.59.
