Crown Crafts is Among the Companies in the Textiles Industry With the Highest Earnings Yield (CRWS, CFI, UFI)

Below are the three companies in the Textiles industry with the highest earnings yields. Earnings yield is useful to compare the relative benefit of owning a stock vs. owning other yield assets such as bonds. If the earnings yield is higher, stocks may be considered undervalued.

Crown Crafts (NASDAQ:CRWS) is highest with an earnings yield of 8.6%. Crown Crafts, Inc. designs, manufactures, markets, and distributes home textile furnishings and accessories. The Company's products include bedroom products, throws and decorative home accessories, and infant and juvenile products. Crown's products are marketed under a variety of company-owned trademarks, trademarks licensed from others, without trademarks, and with private labels.

In the past 52 weeks, Crown Crafts share prices have been bracketed by a low of $4.80 and a high of $6.60 and are now at $6.00, 25% above that low price. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has remained constant while the 50-day MA has remained constant.

Culp (NYSE:CFI) is next with an earnings yield of 7.0%.

Finishing up the top three is Unifi (NYSE:UFI), with an earnings yield of 3.3%.
