Highest Earnings Yield in the Computer & Electronics Retail Industry Detected for hhgregg (HGG, BBY, RCII)

Below are the three companies in the Computer & Electronics Retail industry with the highest earnings yields. Earnings yield is useful to compare the relative benefit of owning a stock vs. owning other yield assets such as bonds. If the earnings yield is higher, stocks may be considered undervalued.

hhgregg (NYSE:HGG) is highest with an earnings yield of 12.8%. hhgregg, Inc. retails video products, brand name appliances, audio products and accessories.

hhgregg share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $17.71 and a 52-week low of $5.84 and are now trading 162% above that low price at $15.31 per share. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone up 1.2% while the 50-day MA has advanced 1.1%.

Following is Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) with an earnings yield of 9.7%.

Finishing up the top three is Rent-A-Center (NASDAQ:RCII), with an earnings yield of 8.2%.
