Jarden Ranks the Highest in Terms of Sales per Share in the Housewares & Specialties Industry (JAH, BTH, AM)

Below are the three companies in the Housewares & Specialties industry with the highest sales per share. Sales per share is a valuable metric in comparing relative value for companies in the same industry.

Jarden (NYSE:JAH) is highest with sales per share of $81.76. Jarden Corporation provides a broad range of consumer products. The Company's product segments include Outdoor Solutions, Consumer Solutions and Branded Consumables. Jarden sells branded products through a variety of distribution channels, including club, department store, drug, grocery, mass merchant, sporting goods and specialty retailers, as well as direct to consumers.

Jarden has overhead space with shares priced $60.05, or 6.2% below the average consensus analyst price target of $64.00. The stock should find initial support at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $53.94 and further support at its 200-day MA of $48.43.

Following is Blyth (NYSE:BTH) with sales per share of $69.20.

Finishing up the top three is American Greetings (NYSE:AM), with sales per share of $50.70.
