Below are the three companies in the Insurance Brokers industry with the highest forward earnings yields. Using projected earnings for the current fiscal year, the forward earnings yield is useful to compare a stock's return vs. owning a similar stock or other yield assets (e.g. bonds). Generally, the higher the earnings yield, the more undervalued the stock.

National Financial Partners (NYSE:NFP) is highest with forward earnings yield of 11.3%. National Financial Partners Corporation is an independent distributor of financial services products to high-net worth individuals and small to medium-sized companies.

In the past 52 weeks, National Financial Partners share prices have been bracketed by a low of $12.54 and a high of $23.50 and are now at $22.50, 79% above that low price. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone up 0.8% while the 50-day MA has advanced 1.6%.

Following is AON (NYSE:AON) with forward earnings yield of 7.9%.

Finishing up the top three is Willis Group (NYSE:WSH), with forward earnings yield of 6.8%.
