Short-term Underperformance Detected in Shares of ArcelorMittal in the Steel Industry (MT, MTL, ATI, CRS, SID)

Here are 5 stocks in the Steel industry ranked by performance. We compiled the trading activity from yesterday and then analyzed the industry looking for stocks that were underperforming. This is what we found:

ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT) ranks first with a loss of 4.52%; Mechel (NYSE:MTL) ranks second with a loss of 4.17%; and Allegheny Technologies (NYSE:ATI) ranks third with a loss of 3.32%.

Carpenter Technology (NYSE:CRS) follows with a loss of 3.23% and Cia Siderurgica Nacional (NYSE:SID) rounds out the bottom five with a loss of 3.07%.

ArcelorMittal produces steel. The Company manufactures cold rolled, electrogalvanized and coated steels, slabs, special quality bars, and wire rods. Arcelor Mittal has steel making operations in Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa.
