Top 3 Companies in the Computer Hardware Industry With the Highest Revenue Per Employee (AAPL, SMCI, DELL)

Below are the three companies in the Computer Hardware industry with the highest Revenue Per Employee (RPE). Analysts use RPE as a measure to compare the productivity of companies in the same industry.

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) is highest with an RPE of $3.4 million. Apple Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets personal computers and related personal computing and mobile communication devices along with a variety of related software, services, peripherals, and networking solutions. The Company sells its products worldwide through its online stores, its retail stores, its direct sales force, third-party wholesalers, and resellers.

Apple share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $705.07 and a 52-week low of $418.66 and are now trading 26% above that low price at $527.72 per share. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day moving average (MA) has fallen 1% while the 200-day MA has slid 0.2%.

Following is Super Micro Computer (NASDAQ:SMCI) with an RPE of $837,000.

Finishing up the top three is Dell (NASDAQ:DELL), with an RPE of $568,000.
