USANA Health Sciences Ranks the Highest in Terms of Earnings Yield in the Personal Products Industry (USNA, NUTR, HLF)

Below are the three companies in the Personal Products industry with the highest earnings yields. Earnings yield is useful to compare the relative benefit of owning a stock vs. owning other yield assets such as bonds. If the earnings yield is higher, stocks may be considered undervalued.

USANA Health Sciences (NYSE:USNA) is highest with an earnings yield of 10.8%. USANA Health Sciences, Inc. develops, manufactures, and markets nutritionals, personal care, and weight management products. The Company's products are sold directly to preferred customers and distributors throughout the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. USANA Health Sciences has traded 34,000 shares thus far today, vs. average volume of 355,000 shares per day. The stock has underperformed the Dow (0.3% to the Dow's 0.6%) and matched the S&P 500 (with a 0.3% move) during today's trading.

Following is Nutraceutical International (NASDAQ:NUTR) with an earnings yield of 9.5%.

Finishing up the top three is Herbalife (NYSE:HLF), with an earnings yield of 9.0%.
