VSE has the Highest Earnings Yield in the Research and Consulting Services Industry (VSEC, DM, CBZ)

Below are the three companies in the Research and Consulting Services industry with the highest earnings yields. Earnings yield is useful to compare the relative benefit of owning a stock vs. owning other yield assets such as bonds. If the earnings yield is higher, stocks may be considered undervalued.

VSE (NASDAQ:VSEC) is highest with an earnings yield of 13.1%. VSE Corporation provides diversified services and products to the engineering, energy, environment, health care, information technology, and defense services markets. The Company's principal customers include agencies of the United States government and other prime contractors. VSE provides services and products from locations across the United States and around the world.

VSE share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $41.22 and a 52-week low of $20.55 and are now trading 99% above that low price at $40.91 per share. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone up 1.0% while the 50-day MA has advanced 2.6%.

Dolan Media (NYSE:DM) is next with an earnings yield of 12.5%.

Finishing up the top three is CBIZ (NYSE:CBZ), with an earnings yield of 9.8%.
