3D Systems Shares Sinking Lower, Down 3.3%

One of today's stocks on the move is 3D Systems (NYSE:DDD), down 3.3% to $34.24. The Dow is down 0.4% to 14,799 and the S&P is currently down 0.5% to 1,580.

3D Systems Corporation develops, manufactures, and markets solid imaging systems designed to rapidly produce three-dimensional objects from computer-aided design and manufacturing-generated solid or surface data. The Company utilizes its systems to produce models, engineering prototypes, mold patterns, and other parts using CAD/CAM or other data supplied by its customers.

3D Systems share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $47.99 and a 52-week low of $16.67 and are now trading 105% above that low price at $34.24 per share. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day moving average (MA) has fallen 2.5% while the 200-day MA has risen 1.1%.

3D Systems has overhead space with shares priced $34.24, or 19.2% below the average consensus analyst price target of $42.40. The stock should find resistance at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $35.37, as well as support at its 200-day MA of $30.34.
