Alpha Natural Resources Makes a Move: Down 2.0%

Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE:ANR), a company whose shares are moving quickly, is trading 2.0% lower to $8.41. The S&P is currently trading fractionally higher to 1,553 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading 0.2% higher to 14,423.

Alpha Natural Resources (NYSE:ANR) has potential upside of 37.3% based on a current price of $8.41 and analysts' consensus price target of $11.55. Alpha Natural Resources shares should encounter resistance at the 50-day moving average (MA) of $9.02 and support at its 200-day MA of $8.20.
