Citigroup Shares Sinking Lower, Down 2.3%

One of today's stocks on the move is Citigroup (NYSE:C), down 2.3% to $42.22. The S&P is currently trading 0.5% lower to 1,505 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading 0.3% lower to 13,878.

Over the past year, Citigroup has traded in a range of $24.61 to $44.71 and is now at $42.22, 72% above that low. The 200-day and 50-day moving averages have moved 0.32% higher and 0.69% higher over the past week, respectively.

There is potential upside of 15.4% for shares of Citigroup based on a current price of $42.22 and an average consensus analyst price target of $48.71. The stock should discover initial support at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $41.37 and subsequent support at its 200-day MA of $33.53.
