Flowers Foods Makes a Move: Up 1.5%

Flowers Foods (NYSE:FLO) is one of today's biggest movers, up 1.5% to $33.35. The Dow is up 0.5% to 15,160 and the S&P is currently up 0.7% to 1,646.

Flowers Foods, Inc. produces and markets packaged bakery foods for retail and foodservice customers. The Company offers fresh packaged and frozen bakery products as well as pastries, doughnuts and bakery snack products.

Flowers Foods (NYSE:FLO) is currently priced 9.2% above its average consensus analyst price target of $30.29. The stock should find initial support at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $31.49 and further support at its 200-day MA of $24.87.

In the past 52 weeks, Flowers Foods share prices have been bracketed by a low of $18.46 and a high of $33.73 and are now at $33.35, 81% above that low price. Over the past week, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone up 0.7% while the 50-day MA has advanced 0.8%.
