Shares of Acadia Healthcare Receive a Boost, Up 2.8%

One of today's notable stocks on the rise is Acadia Healthcare (NASDAQ:ACHC), up 2.8% to $26.28. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is now trading 0.9% higher to 13,994 and the S&P is trading 1.0% higher to 1,513.

Acadia Healthcare has overhead space with shares priced $26.28, or 5.2% below the average consensus analyst price target of $27.73. The stock should find initial support at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $23.73 and further support at its 200-day MA of $20.11.

Acadia Healthcare share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $27.51 and a 52-week low of $14.40 and are now trading 83% above that low price at $26.28 per share. Over the last five market days, the 200-day moving average (MA) has gone up 1.1% while the 50-day MA has advanced 1.5%.

Acadia Healthcare Company, Inc. engages in the provision of behavioral healthcare services in the United States. It operates acute inpatient psychiatric facilities that provide evaluation and crisis stabilization of patients with severe psychiatric diagnoses.
