Shares of Omnicare Under Pressure, Down 1.4%

Omnicare (NYSE:OCR) is a company whose shares are active, trading 1.4% lower to $44.86. The Dow is trading fractionally lower to 15,101 and the S&P is currently trading fractionally lower to 1,629.

Omnicare share prices have moved between a 52-week high of $45.48 and a 52-week low of $29.24 and are now trading 53% above that low price at $44.86 per share. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day moving average (MA) has climbed 1.1% while the 200-day MA has risen 0.5%.

Omnicare (NYSE:OCR) is currently priced 2.8% above its average consensus analyst price target of $43.60. The stock should discover initial support at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $40.69 and subsequent support at its 200-day MA of $36.42.

Omnicare, Inc. provides geriatric pharmaceutical services. The Company distributes pharmaceuticals, and provides related pharmacy consulting and other ancillary services, data management services and medical supplies to skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, retirement centers, independent living communities, hospitals, hospice, and other healthcare providers.
