Stock Investors Sell Off Shares of LG Display, Down 1.6%

One of today's stocks on the move is LG Display (NYSE:LPL), down 1.6% to $13.57. The S&P is currently trading 0.5% lower to 1,619 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average is trading 0.4% lower to 15,060.

LG Display Company Ltd. develops and manufactures digital display products. The Company's products include thin film transistor-liquid crystal displays (TFT-LCD) for notebook and desktop computer monitors, TVs, and mobile phones. LG Display provides its products to overseas and domestic markets.

Potential upside of 4.6% exists for LG Display, based on a current level of $13.57 and analysts' average consensus price target of $14.19. The stock should find initial resistance at its 50-day moving average (MA) of $13.64 and further resistance at its 200-day MA of $13.84.

Over the past year, LG Display has traded in a range of $9.00 to $16.80 and is now at $13.57, 51% above that low. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day moving average (MA) has fallen 0.3% while the 200-day MA has risen 0.2%.
