Kim Rucker, Avon Product Inc.’s senior vice president be leaving to take over as executive vice president of corporate and legal affairs at Kraft Foods on August 17, 2012.
She will also become Kraft’s general counsel and corporate secretary and a member of the management team later this year.
Avon will begin a search for a new general counsel. The company will create an interim transition plan for leadership of the company’s global legal organization until the position is filled.
Kraft Foods shares were down fractionally at $40.15 in after-hours trading, and are up 7.6% so far this year.
Avon shares were down slightly at $16.50 in late trading and are down 4.9% year-to-date.
